ELIZABETH"KIKU"ITO

I got a painting from ELIZABETH!!!!!!!!!!(>_<)!!!!!
I just wanted to show... ha ha ha hah-!!!
in case, if you do not know what kind of relationship I have with Elizabeth,,, she is my friend, sister. And she is super talented artist and writer..yes she can use both side of brain really really really well.
We went to CALARTS together, finished school together with putting mickey mouse graduation hats,, it was already 3 years ago...
I still miss a lot how we spent time together almost everyday, almost always right next to eachother.
She was always there, always inspiring, and always she encouraged me to make me feel really better.. And still she does a lot...without her, competing with her, I am not here for sure..
one of my dream is making one super cool project with her and dominate this world together...so anyway watch out what she is doing and she will do.....I believe many of you know.

I just wanted to tell you what I have been doing...

I just finished study for my new painting. This painting is for the grand opening show at gallery MOBIUS. My friend Bryan's friend, Wonhee will open new gallery and store in Korea Town. On 6th St. Right next to PINKBERRY,,, Sena and I are kind of addicted to.... ah ah--- pinkberry( mango, coconut and strawberry with plain yogult is my favorite).
Bryan Lee , Jason Cook and I are working together for my new animation project,"NIPPONSEIFUKU-MUKASHIBANASHI" at
NYLONMOTION INC now.
For this project and another animation project, and painting, and designing products, and and....
I am using my brain in full speed, and trying to visualize as much as I can so I am crazy now.

And while I was trying to edit animatic, since KW's computer acted sooooo slow, I made him and my new hat.. oh.. I forgot to scan the hat.. well you now my hat...His name is "KICHI", he is bat bone..dark side of my new character "PRINCE KOUMORI"
do you know who I am talking about.....

ANIMATION(click title to know what I am talking about)

I saw "TEKKONKINKREET" yesterday. The film was perfect. I just love it. Story diged into my heart, and art made me exhale 100 times, just beautiful.
My favorite artist in Japanese inderstry worked on this historical animation film. TAIYOU MATSUMOTO, KOHJI MORIMOTO, SHINJI KIMURA,yes people who made AKIRA,MEMORIES, ROBOT CARNIVAL.....And and...!!!!!
I believe this film change the idea of animation film in all over the world, specially in HERE...yeah,, should be changed I hope.
I believe everybody who loves animation feels
same as I feel, well at least I know Emilie and Justin do.
You need to see this film... if you did not yesterday, I think it will be shown all over here...in few month, and DVD WILL COME OUT NEXT MONTH, I will get a region free player and get this DVD...save money save money....
so I got enough inspiration to finish up storyboards for "NIPPONSEIFUKU:MUKASHIBANASHI' animation...here is one of concept drawing for it.....I am ready.

tomorrow is the children day in JAPAN

Well, in Japan, it is even national holiday, and people celebrate your sons health and happiness. Yeah it is actually for boys.. not for girls.. There is girls day and for peach trees( to celebrate birth of Spring), and it is 3/3..but not national holiday.....
So...MAN"S world is it...
well... but, most of people do not really care about the difference,, unfortunatly, or fortunatly..
Anyway, I am celebrating childrens' and Sena's health and hoping their happiness....you cannot be a child forever, but you can be like child forever.. that is how we are..

here is a new painting, I just finished for my solo show at Nucleus..this is a very first painting for the show.. she brings luck to me always..

Ok.. I finished clean up whole rooms..I had ignored 3 weeks...ha.ha.
Well, now everything is clean, kind of.. no more dust..... phew...
And this is what I found....yes, Kent's drawing..I called him and told him I love it and he said he did it last night, and we laughed. I like his big cute surprizes...! I think he is genius.....yes I am serious...


I finished paintings for 1988SF.. I think I got something I wanted while I was painting.. this is one of them.. (>_<), I am still struggling to get right feeling..Painting is not easy..need extra concentration or lose everything..like I feel sometimes, may be offen, I do not know how to paint..well but I figure out a little by little to become a master of painting..ha ha ha.. I am just kidding. I love painting,, that is all about..yes love...
