I read all 3 issues of graphic novels also.
They are truly amazing, master piece! that is for sure. I believe american compay will publish English version of them soon again, so you should read them, (title is "black and white")
yes, BLACK AND WHITE,
their names..two main characters live as one.
and my belief, respectfully trying to live in the way of YIN AND YANG, TAOISM..
and also always, I am trying to visualize the idea, so,
"TEKKOMKINKREET" just knocked me out.
"TEKKONKINKREET" is telling and implying the many aspects ofYIN AND YANG.TAOISM I believe.
The idea is deeply build in ASIAN BELIEF and CULTURE from long long time ago, I believe.
If you are interested in you should read the books.. there are a lot of books telling about the phi·los·o·phy.

Yummy Gaudi for MAXALOT:Wallpapers project

I have started working on a big painting, which is for my solo show and also for the Wallpapers project of the MAXALOT GALLERY in Barcelona!
Ye~s ,,! Gaudi's country!!,,
One Master artist designed the almost all the big CITY!!
I want to do that too!!
Well..... anyway, I have been really excited and thinking about this project, in order to visualize how I want ,,,
and I think I got it! Finally! ( well.. I have been working on slowly may be 4 month or so...)
Here is one of element I will paint on a canvas,
Hope some of my characters will be top on the Gaudi's buildings, for REAL! in Future!

Here is a painting I finished last week, and one of best painting I have ever done, I believe.
I am really happy with..yes that is why.
Always trying my best but it is impossible to feel happiness with everything what I have done..
so please come to my solo show to see the original, it is pretty big..

I went to Nickelodeon Creator's nite party last Friday, it was fun! I was able to see my friends and ate good sushi...(I couldn't believe it was catering sushi..WITH JAPANESE SUSHI MEN!! I order sushi in JAPANESE!!!! it was just awesome...)
Besides good food and the drink,(Jack Daniel with real apple and cranberry juice..ha.. those just killed me)
oh,,made me feel like,,"I want to make animtion!!"
So, eventhough, I really need to keep painting for my shows!
But, I will start work on my new animation projects and try to finish unfinished projects...

I think I want to animate with pen and ink....since I got a perfect toy for making pen drawing how I want,
I can control lines,,,in many kind of ways...wow.....I feel so good..
Still really need practice ..but I feel good so this is cool enough for me!!! yes for ME!!!

2 gallery Openings this Saturday!!!

I just finished two new paintings for upcoming two group shows, and both Opening is this Saturday!
Hooray!! Party Party!
Well, a problem for me is since one is in Alhambra and other one is in Culver City, I am not sure how I can go both, if I get drunk...?
I do not have to get drunk, but it is fun to be drunk at gallery opening,, anyway.
I will try to go both, so I HOPE I CAN SEE MY FRIENDS!

I have been painting everyday, I think I can call myself a PAINTER right now. It is like meditation in confusion, and trying to find the exit, but there is no exit..
I Need extra concentration, that is for sure,100%..
I am really alone and selfish, but not a magician,.
I am inside and outside of canvas to figure out how I can make illusion.

COMIC-CON over!

So! I went to Comic-con last weekend.
There were too many people, and too many stuff!
Sena and I got $100 each budget to be able to spend,well what we got are pretty cool, and we did not spent over budget, so that was cool also.
I got New Hokusai book, tekkonkinkreet books, Elizabeth's print, Morgan and Jeremy's books, Abe Sapien Qee, Haruhara Haruko doll, jyaka jyaka jan frog figure. And Sena got white OX ugrydoll, many tiny figures of pokemon and new Jim Henson's city critters,,,and and Naruto frog bag!
besides fun shopping, coolest things were, we met our favorite people!! I do not think I can see them anywhere except at Comic-con!
